10 Minute Brightening Mini Facial

Baking Soda Brightening Mask and Scrub.

Once in a while, no matter how well we treat our skin, it starts losing its luster and becomes a little dull. A visit to your aesthetician is always a must, but if you are in between appointments, or just don’t have the time, then this at home treatment is your solution!

For a while now we have known of the variety of benefits to using baking soda in our everyday lives. Cleaning, baking, whitening our teeth, and even science experiments with the kids! The list goes on and on. Did you know that you can also use it as a brightening face scrub and mask? While nothing beats a relaxing facial at a spa, we know you are busy and can’t make it on a regular basis, so we decided to test this technique and share our results so you can try it at home!

Time: 10 Minutes
What you will need:
2 Heaping tablespoons of Baking Soda

2 Teaspoons warm water

Step 1: Thoroughly remove all makeup
Step 2: Combine baking soda and warm water to creat a thick paste.
Step 3: Apply the paste to your face and neck (avoid eye area)
Step 4: Let the mask sit for 5min.
Step 5: Dampen your fingertips slightly and gently work the paste into your skin in a circular motion like you would with a scrub.
Step 6: Rise with warm water and pat dry
